Man, what an experience! To see the video, scroll down! I was one of those folks who couldn't get tickets to the Eras Tour in the verified presale, or in the Capital One presale. I waited HOURS in the queue to get tickets and failed. I lost hope at that point until Ticketmaster decided to give me another try. I got floor tickets in a lottery system they had set up. I was so thankful and so excited! That was in December. I waited MONTHS for this show. I prepped my outfit, got the hotel, and got the parking pass. So many plans went into making this all happen. When we saw the weather for the weekend, we weren't concerned that there would be a chance of a canceled show.
We figured it would rain, but we did not expect to have to shelter in place in tight corridors for 5 hours. We honestly thought the show was going to be canceled. When they announced it was all clear, and Taylor would take the stage... I think I was more excited than I originally was in the first place. It was a fantastic experience! When the rain and intense lightning came back, I was afraid they were going to send us all home early, but Taylor powered through. It ended up being an insane night! Below is my experience, and visuals of what it really looked like. My husband and I were luckier than others. There were medical emergencies, there were folks who couldn't get to the bathrooms, and there were folks who had panic attacks in the corridors. It was A LOT of people. Thank you to the crew, the staff of Nissan Stadium, the officers, and everyone who came together to make it all happen.
