For example, Chick-fil-A recently raised their minimum wage, at least here in the Upstate, to $13/hour. That's pretty decent pay for a high schooler working part-time nights and weekends! These raises for employees appear to have a direct effect on efficiency and happiness, and can only lead to a better overall work environment for the companies and their employees.
