Amazon Workers Get A Wage Boost!

U.S. Amazon Workers to Make at least $15/hour

Amazon has been criticized in the past for its median salary of $28.000, citing that one in three Amazon  workers in Arizona are on public assistance. I think this minimum wage raise is a great move by Amazon. It seems that more and more companies are beginning to follow suit as well. For example, Chick-fil-A recently raised their minimum wage, at least here in the Upstate, to $13/hour. That's pretty decent pay for a high schooler working part-time nights and weekends! These raises for employees appear to have a direct effect on efficiency and happiness, and can only lead to a better overall work environment for the companies and their employees.
