Heath Dillard is the President & CEO for VisitGreenvilleSC, Greenville’s official Destination Marketing Organization, where he is responsible for the leadership and management of all daily operations in the mission to brand, market, and sell Greenville, SC as a must-see destination. He has nearly 20 years of experience in sales & marketing strategy. He recently spent 10 years with the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority in Charlotte, NC as Director of Insights where he helped lead the organization’s strategic planning, organizational and community goal setting, and strategy implementation. Heath helped develop sales & marketing strategy for Visit Charlotte, including the destination brand evolution of Charlotte’s Got a Lot in 2018. He led the employee engagement strategy for the CRVA, leading to a top 10th percentile ranking nationally regardless of industry. He led the customer experience strategy of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Bojangles Entertainment Complex, and the Charlotte Convention Center, leading to world-class Net Promoter Score results. He has been a trusted resource of tourism industry information, supporting government stakeholders, tourism industry partners, and economic development activity, most recently leading to the $128 million expansion of the Charlotte Convention Center. Heath grew up in Spartanburg, SC, received his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in business administration with a marketing concentration and an MBA from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. His wife Jamie is a SC Public School Special Education Teacher of more than 20 years. They have 3 sons, Wilson (10) and twins, Wyatt (6) and Henry (6).
