Doug Erwin - Vice Chairman & Chief Brand Officer of Greenville Triumph

Doug is the Vice Chairman and Chief Brand Officer of Greenville Triumph Soccer Club, a professional soccer franchise that began play in the United Soccer League’s League One in 2019. As Vice Chairman, he serves as a voice of the club’s ownership group on day-to-day operations and oversees the club’s branding and marketing as well as digital and social communications in his CBO role as part of the organization’s senior leadership.

Doug began his career in the Washington, DC metro area shortly after graduating Clemson by joining Vornado Realty Trust – a preeminent owner, manager and developer of office and retail assets with more than 30 million square feet of LEED certified buildings. While at Vornado, Doug managed construction, renovation and maintenance projects, oversaw database management projects and helped run day-to-day operations at multiple office complexes. He returned south to join Erwin Penland in 2012, serving in account service and project management roles for clients including Verizon, Denny’s, Sears Auto Center and The Greenville Drive.

Doug joined the Endeavor team prior to its opening in May 2016, overseeing the build out of their unique space from the ground up, including construction, technology, furnishings, procurement and installations. He served as Endeavor’s Managing Director for two years before leaving to join the ownership group of the Greenville Triumph and serve as the organization’s Chief Brand Officer as the franchise is built out in advance of their inaugural 2019 season. Doug additionally serves as a key member of the Erwin Creates venture creation and development team.
