The Food Network's Restaurant: Impossible will be featuring Greenville's own Runway Cafe! For those who may not have seen the show, Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine helps restaurants that are in trouble in just two days by identifying the problems, finding solutions, remodeling, and changing the menu.
"As a small mom-and-pop place, we don't always have the deep pockets to make significant changes," Runway Cafe's co-owner Lem Winesett said. "Just like any other small business, we've had some peaks and valleys. Labor has been a big issue for us. It’s been hard for us coming off the pandemic to open up the hours that we want to." The episode featuring Runway Cafe was filmed in late October, and the restaurant has announced on Facebook that the episode will air on February 23rd.
