A man in Texas is asking anyone, and everyone, to donate their old Christmas tree this, and every year, to a very worthly cause. An organization called Free Canes for Veterans. The organization is based out of Florida and was started to give cool looking canes to vets.
Jamie Willis is a disabled vet who, when he came back home, went to Veteran's affairs for a cane and what they gave him wasn't just ugly, it was unstable and almost caused him more injury than it was worth. That's when he ran across Free Canes for Veterans. The rest, as they say, is history.
