SC used to have "Smiling Faces, Beautiful Places" as it's slogan, but now it's, "While I breathe, I hope". North Carolina's is: A Better Place To Be, and then there is the very lame (if you asked me) Maryland with, "If you're looking for a merry land, Go to Maryland". Yuck. Haha! Now Nebraska has decided to promote tourism with their new slogan which is, "Nebraska, it isn't for Everyone". What?! Haha! Totally and brutally honest, I guess. Tourism officials say the move was made upon revisiting the state's character and an acknowledgement that they "can't offer something to everyone." The old slogan? "Nebraska Nice". I think they need to find some new slogan writers.
